With so many ways to play in Neighborville, it can get pretty hard to keep track of them all. Luckily, this guide sets out to cover all of the gamemodes available so players can get an idea of they want to try out first.

Turf Takeover
Turf Takeover

Attack and defend maps might have gotten a whole lot crazier. Turf Takeover is your go-to gamemode for those looking to jump right into the action. Each game starts out relatively the same with either the plants or zombies defending an objective from the opposing team. The first 3 objectives are relatively straightforward in the sense that they revolve around pushing a payload or capturing a point During the forth and final objective is where match objectives are changed up dramaticly. Each map features a final setpiece that helps set each one apart from one another. One map, you might find yourself dodging flaming marshmellos from a motar cannon, while on another, you'll be attacking a massive drill shooting laser at you. Turf Takeover perfectly captures the spirit of BFN and is a must for any player to try out.

Team Vanquish

For something a bit more familiar, set your sights on Team Vanquish. It's a tried and true score-based gamemode with the goal being to be the first team to reach 50 vanquishes. Teamwork is greatly encouraged as reviving fallen players will remove a point earned by the other team. Team Vanquish provides a safe, laid-back environment to get acoustomed to the controls of each character while also testing your skills against other players.

Ops Mode
Ops Mode

Shifting away momentarily from the PvP modes, Garden and Graveyard Ops are PvE modes where 4 players team up to defend their garden or graveyard from waves of oncoming enemies. Each wave gradually escalates in difficulty until the fifth and final wave where a slot machine is rolled to dicate which of the many bosses they'll face. On occasion, a Super Boss Wave may appear if all three slots are the same boss, resulting in a much harder version of that bosses fight taking place utilizing a unique gimick. Defeating the wave will net players a sizeable coin bonus, so when the opprotunity arises, make sure to give it everything you've got!
